A magnificent Japanese Satsuma polychrome floor vase with cover, Meiji period (1868 - 1912), 19th century, ormolu-mounted at base, decorated with three cartouche panels of immortal. The cover topped with a sitting boy holder a fan, the first panel decorated with an immortal god and a monkey with 18 character inscription. The artist signed at bottom right; the second panel decorated with two immortals and an elephant, the artist signed at bottom left; the third panel decorated with an immortal god, the artist signed at bottom right. Condition: a professional restoration to the cover.
