A very scarce Japanese okimono-like walking stick. Depicts an oni demon and a crow carrying a large pouch. Carved chaste, bamboo stick, pewter and brass mountings. Japan, Meiji Period, 19th century.

In very good condition with age related hairlines. Overall lenght is 96 cm, chaste alone is 11 cm.
