Traditionally hand painted Japanese Meiji period small reeded Imari vase c1890. The vase is of baluster form with everted rim. Decorated with floral panels to front and back.These vases are typical of the Imari porcelain ware that was made for export during the Meiji period. They are unmarked, each with an unglazed foot and blue tint to the ground. Typical Imari colours and design.
The vase is 15.5 cm in height. This vase is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Some firing flaws typical with ceramics of this type and age.
