Japanese Meiji Period true mirror pair of cloisonné vases. A true mirror small pair of silver mounted cloisonné vases on a night blue base, depicting a bird in a cherry blossom tree above magnolia, peony, iris and other flowers. Dimensions: 15cms high x 5.9cms x 5.9cms at shoulders. Rim diameter 5.4cms x base diameter 4cms. Condition: One vase has had damage to its neck band which has been professionally restored and is very hard to detect other than under UV light.
There are minor surface scuffs to both vases and two. Flakes of enamel missing (one from each vase - see photographs). Overall the condition of these vases is superb.
