Japanese Mixed Metal Pair of Knives Boat & Ocean Motifs Meiji Period Circa 1900 Antique Meiji Period - Japanese mixed metal, pair of knives, decorated with mixed metal handles, one ornamented with traditional Japanese scene of a scholar sitting under willow tree glancing at the turbulent silver color ocean waves, second knife decorated with wild ocean scene with the fishing boat struggling to get back to shore, each handle hand chased with matted ground. Silver-plated blades hallmarked for Wright Kay & Co. Overall very good condition, minimal pin-point dents to the handles, scratches to the blades. Excellent Quality Outstanding Details Marked: unmarked length each 7 1/3 in.
