A simply gorgeous pair of wonderful antique Japanese Cloisonné Enamel Ginbari (embossed-foil) vases. One has delicate flowers with a butterfly design with purples and greens and the other has beautiful white cranes on a pinkish/red background on bottom and light blue on top. Appears to be of Meiji period. Marked on the base with Mont Fuji incorporated with the character "Dai" which is the first character in Dai Nippon or Japan.
Minor wear consistent with age- scratches and scuffs throughout. Base of the floral vase has several small cracks on the bottom near base and a yellow mark. Floral vase also has some missing copper circular wires. Each vase is approximately 4 3/4 high. Thank you for looking and please have a look at my other items.
