Pair of Signed Japanese Meiji Period Solid Silver & Enamel Birds c. This is an excellent pair of Meiji period solid silver & champleve enamel birds, circa 1880. One has an engraved makers mark to the underside. CONDITION one toe missing on each bird, the enamelling is in good order & there are no visible dents or dings - as per images. The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.
