Of bulbous form with flared rim. Stands on a circular pedestal foot. The applied decoration to the body shows a baby turtle riding on the back of a larger turtle surrounded by gently flowing water. The surface is patinated with red and green splashes and deep caramel colours.
The base of the vase has some markings in black ink, perhaps'FB 36 11 3'. Height: 28.7 cm or 11 1/4 inches.Width: 11 cm or 4 3/8 inches.
