Antique Japanese Meiji Period Antler Stag Tanto Dagger Sword For restoration

A fine antique Japanese Tanto dagger with exquisite carvings. Primary material is antler stag horn.

Japan, Meiji Period, 19th century. This item is listed for restoration - interior mount components that hold and secure the blade have been shattered and blade shows oxydation. However on the outside the koshirae is much better, showing only 3 tension hairlines to the handle mount. It should not be a highly complex job. Total lenght is 33,5 cm.

Blade lenght is 18 cm or 24,5 cm including habaki and nakago.
