Antique Large Meiji-Period Japanese Cloisonne Ho-o Phoenix lobbed baluster vase
A Cloisonné enamel vase, of lobbed baluster form. 1868 - 1912, early 20th century. The body decorated with opposing scene panels, each with a Ho-o Phoenix atop a granite like ground. The borders filled with transparent ginbari red enamel with silver foil beneath and several small dragon medallions applied in silver wire. Good condition with no chips or restoration.
