Antique Meiji-period Japanese Satsuma Egret Bird & Iris floral buckle signed

A Satsuma earthenware set buckle, of oval form. 1868 - 1912, late 19th century. The piece with a central panel decorated with an Egret bird amongst Iris flowers.

The work applied using coloured enamels and finely detailed with gold. Some wear to the gilding.
