Please look over the pictures. The box is approximately 3 7/8" in tall x 7 7/8" wide x 5 1/8 deep. The bottom "wrinkling" is not a defect and does not take away from it's value.It was caused by firing. The bottom also has a Ming mark. VERY SMALL areas of either chipped or not fully filled in enamel, there is no missing enamel.
They areas are small and really cannot be seen unless you are looking for them. It is a wonderful example of cloisonné history. It was acquired from the Estate of Harry Hilbert, a prominent New Canaan, CT antiques dealer. We strive to be as accurate as possible in our descriptions of our items.
