A fabulous Japanese Meiji period life size lacquer noh mask wall hanging, with a wonderfully detailed facial expression complete with bulging veins, painted glass eyes, an up-turned nose and remnants of a hair mustache, sideburns and eyebrow. This superb lacquer noh mask has holes through the ears to hang on the wall and despite a small chip to one eye is in very good condition commensurate with age measuring 8 inches in length.
