A nice solid silver round box made from pure silver in Japan in the Meiji period. The body has a dragon decoration that runs from the lid onto the body. It is signed by the artist on the bottom.
The box measures 6.5 cm in height and 8.5 cm in diameter. The box weighs 180 gram. The box is marked Jungin (pure silver) and with another mark which I think is the artist. It has a small dent to the base and some very minor dents on the lid (hardly noticable).
Other than that it is in good condition. If you find yourself in the proximity of Amsterdam, please feel free to come and visit my shop at Antiekcentrum Amsterdam, where I have a wide collection of art and antiques on offer (or for a cup of tea).
