Rare Signed Japanese Meiji Period Inro with Netsuke and Mop Silver & Gold Overlay



WELCOME TO COAST TO COAST ANTIQUES! Description - Japanese four section inro decorated with mother of pearl along with silver and gold overlay. The cord is decorated with a signed silver bead decorated with a relief flower and a netsuke in the form of a man on what appears to be a gourd form bottle. Size - Approximately 12 + 3/8 inches in overall length with the sections closed (includes netsuke) The inro with out the cord and netsuke measures 3 + 1/8 inches long (closed) by 1 + 3/4 inches wide. Condition - Age appropriate, there appears to be some adhesive at the base of the bovine bone on the netsuke, and minor wear on the cord, mop, silver, and gold, see photos for compete assessment.
