Very Rare Antique Japanese Meiji Period Orange & Gold Enamel Ginger Jar. This is a very old rare vase. The vase does have ware from the age. Some paint is missing on the four feet and the elephant rings. The lid has a crack and there is a crack on the rim. Overall the jar is in good condition considering its age. It is hand painted with gold gilding and painted with enamel. The jar is orange, white and gold. There are 2 elephant heads one on each side holding a gold ring. There are flowers and leaves painted all around the jar.
